In her artistic practice, Buczkowska often engages with the theme of the circulation of matter in nature, treating it as a space for metaphorical exploration. She is absorbed by the physiology and subjectivity of plants and the continuous transformations of human and non-human bodies. The artist employs symbolism rooted in biological structures and life processes as part of a complex ecosystem. Her works, often imbued with surrealism, subtly weave together color, gesture, light, and materiality. She focuses on presenting the matter of life as a dynamic, ever-changing organism that interacts with its surrounding environment, while emphasizing the deep connection between humans and nature.
