Kuba Falk

Artist

Born in 1984 in Iława. He graduated in Acting from the Academy of Theatre in Kraków in 2011 and also pursued studies in Religious Studies at the Jagiellonian University, Theatre Directing at the Academy of Theatre in Kraków, and Intermedia at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

An intermedia artist and performer, his practice intertwines text, ritual, and ecofeminist thought through the form of “bodytales” – performative narratives that probe the tension between the paradigm of care and the realities of technocratic dystopia. His projects unfold at the crossroads of experimental theatre, visual arts, and performance, delving into themes of planetary interdependence and mythology. He has presented his work at venues such as Central Elétrica, Porto (PT); Baryshnikov Arts Center, New York (US); Watermill Center, Long Island, New York (US); Hamburger Bahnhof, Berlin (DE); Inne Towarzystwo, Warsaw (PL); and Ewa Opałka Gallery (PL).

He lives and works in Warsaw.
