Opening of Ewa Partum’s solo show “Now my idea is a golden idea” at Ewa Opałka / Razem Pamoja Foundation

On January 15th we invite you to the opening of Ewa Partum’s solo show at Ewa Opałka Gallery / Fundacja Razem Pamoja. The title of the exhibition refers to a sentence on a postcard, that was an invitation to Partum’s performance “Change” realized in Galeria Adres in 1974. Partum goes back to her past work to reconstruct an idea that she didn’t realize at that time. In this retrospective gesture, she combines creative activities on the archive of her work with a commentary on the development of feminist ideas in recent years in Poland.

The last week of the exhibition “Consumption, Construction and Melancholia” by Mariola Przyjemska at the Zachęta National Gallery of Art

The exhibition “Consumption, Construction and Melancholia” by Mariola Przyjemska at the Zachęta National Gallery of Art ends this week. On Sunday, January 8, 2023, as part of the finissage, you will be able to meet the artist Mariola Przyjemska in the exhibition space from 2 pm to 8 pm.

Exhibition “Consumption, Construction and Melancholia” curated by Ewa Majewska and Ewa Opałka presented at the Zachęta Gallery (16.09.2022 – 08.01.2023) is the first, so far, such a comprehensive presentation of Mariola Przyjemska’s works, bringing together oeuvre from all periods of her career. The monographic exhibition will present more than 100 works created over the last four decades. It aims to introduce the work of this artist, who always draws on both cutting-edge and traditional media — from painting and drawing to photography and video — in an innovative way.
